Origine des Maronis

The four cuddly Maroni's Wurzelpurtzi, Knurzelwurtzi, Furzelpurtzi & Purzelwurtzi were once famous and infamous performers, who were recognised and appreciated for their daredevil manoeuvres and dangerous jumps far beyond the borders of the forests we know and spread much joy and love. Everyone who saw them was immediately cheered by their cuteness.

Belonging to the tribe of the bold Chestieros, they delighted in jumping, hopping and rolling, even when they were little husks. They swung from tree to tree, no crest was too high for them, and they could easily cut through any ravine, no matter how deep.

On their last tour, they were on the run from vicious chestnut collectors who had been after them for some time, until they settled in the enchanted rocky land near the Devil's Table by an ancient invisible tree, because the creepy collectors were extremely afraid of the legend of the Devil's Table and would not enter the place.

They are also trained dispute mediators.

Habitat des Maronis

The four chestnut friends feel at home wherever they can spread joy and good humour. They like light forests and open spaces, as well as hills, valleys and meadows where they can jump and roll down.
